Project Purpose
Maylily Kids is a kidswear brand adding refined elegance to children's everyday clothing, launching its own store on Cafe24. The customer is a parent shopping on a phone, usually with limited attention, so the store was built around that: fast imagery, comfortable swiping, and a lookbook that gets a proper home instead of being flattened into product cards.
Scope
- · Cafe24 D2C Store Design & Build
- · Responsive UI/UX Optimisation
- · Product Category & Promotion Setup
- · Commerce Feature Integration
Key Technical Features
Commerce UI Optimisation & Curation
- · NEW ITEMS and BEST ITEMS sit intuitively at the top of the main page, shortening the shopping path and raising conversion.
Brand Lookbook Archiving
- · A dedicated lookbook gallery board was custom-configured so seasonal editorials — the core asset of any clothing brand — have somewhere to live at full visual weight.
Integrated Operations
- · Q&A, customer review and FAQ boards were structured on the Cafe24 solution.
- · The back-office was set up so promotions and stock stay manageable by the client as the brand grows.
Design Points
Brand Aesthetics
To carry the brand's premise — taking inspiration from children's smiles — graphic elements were removed in favour of a warm tone and minimal whitespace, letting material texture and model shots stand on their own.
Mobile-Friendly UX
Since the primary buyer arrives on mobile, image loading was optimised, swipe browsing smoothed, and tap targets enlarged for a shopping experience that survives being used one-handed.
